Clare qualified as a solicitor in 2009. Prior to joining Hibberts, Clare worked at a Chester firm where she developed her expertise in litigation and dispute resolution. She joined the litigation and probate dispute team at Hibberts in 2019 and has a particular interest in contentious wills, trusts and probate matters and property litigation.

Areas of Expertise

Clare has a broad range of experience in litigation and dispute resolution and specialises in proceedings to challenge the validity of wills, the interpretation of wills, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependents) Act 1975 and executor and administration disputes. She has substantial experience in all aspects of property litigation including acting for clients seeking to establish or dispute the acquisition of land by adverse possession. She also specialises in boundary disputes and issues concerning the extent or existence of rights of way and/ or interference with them. Clare regularly advises clients in relation to claims arising from property ownership in the context of relationship break-downs.
