Fiona Madeley

Fiona joined Hibberts as an office junior in 1989 following a work experience placement whilst studying Business at Malbank 6^th Form.  Having spent some time as a legal secretary she moved into the accounts department in 1993 working closely alongside the  Practice Manager.   She was a key member in the smooth transition of the mergers between Hibberts and Durrad Davies Solicitors in 1995 and more recently with the Shropshire Firm Lucas Butter Rushton in 2008.

As the Firm expanded, Fiona was tasked with a new role in 2008 becoming the firm’s HR Manager.  Having previous experience in a variety of other roles and being already familiar with the Firm’s culture, values and processes, she understood the day to day operational needs and challenges faced by employees and was ideally placed to advise and inform the Partnership.  Her vast experience allowed her to propose more practical and relevant HR policies and initiatives as well as ensuring employees needs and concerns were adequately represented.

In April 2023 with over 30 years of experience within Hibberts, Fiona became the Firm’s Practice Manager and she forms an integral part of our management team.  Her gargantuan knowledge and experience gained whilst working across our accounts, office management and HR functions have helped her to transition into the new role where she provides leadership, adaptability and commercial vision to the partnership. There is little about the Firm that Fiona does not know!

When not working Fiona enjoys spending time with her two daughters and grandchildren.  She loves a good book to read and her favourite places to visit are Croatia and Canada.
