Background
Gemma completed her Bachelor of Law degree (LL.B.) at Keele University before continuing her studies at the University of the West of England where she successfully completed the bar vocational course and obtained a post-graduate diploma in law.
Gemma began working at Hibberts LLP in 2007 and gained sufficient experience to enable her to cross-qualify as a Solicitor in 2010.
Areas of Expertise
Gemma went on to achieve the recognised STEP Diploma in 2013 which is both an academic and professional qualification. This has given her a practical understanding of the law and procedures involved in trust and estate administration, tax and accounting.
Gemma has worked within our Private Client Department since she qualified and deals with many complex trust and estate matters as well as other private client work including lasting powers of attorney and court of protection applications.
About Gemma
Outside of work, Gemma’s time is spent with her husband and young daughter. She also enjoys reading, piano and socialising with friends and family.
