Background

Nicky attended Manchester High School for Girls and completed her Law Degree at the University of Liverpool. She joined Hibberts in 2005 having qualified and worked in Manchester, going on to become an Associate at Mace & Jones in Liverpool.

Throughout her career, she has specialised in commercial property including freehold sales and purchases, leases of office space, shops and industrial buildings and secured lending.

During her time at Hibberts, Nicky has acted for both landowners and developers in granting options and promotion agreements and has dealt with the purchase of residential development sites.

Area of Expertise

• As a trainee solicitor, Nicky was part of the team that provided certificates of title to the funder to finance development of land at Dumplington, Manchester which later became the Trafford Centre
• Dealing with the property aspect of the sale of a cosmetics company that involved 35 leasehold industrial units
• Acting for the vendors of a chain of pharmacies which included numerous retail shop premises
• Acting for landowners in relation to the promotion agreements with, and the subsequent sale of land to, developers including negotiating coverage agreements
