’Tis the Season…
In case you hadn’t noticed, there’s a certain day looming and here at Hibberts Solicitors, we’re all for taking part in the festive season.
Last weekend was the annual Tatton Yule Yomp, and Hibberts sponsored the race for the 10th year. Nearly 1500 runners, many in fancy dress, took part in a challenging race on a muddy course. There were also 100 children who ran the 3k fun run. All the funds raised go to local charities, including Carers Trust, David Lewis, East Cheshire Hospice and NW Air Ambulance.
David Lewis is the UK’s largest provider of care, education, assessment, treatment and life skill development for people with complex epilepsy, physical and learning difficulties and other neurological conditions.
East Cheshire Hospice cares for adults suffering from life-limiting illnesses from which there is no cure. They care for the whole person, aiming to meet all needs, whether they are medical, emotional or spiritual or around the challenges of daily living. They support families and carers throughout what is often a difficult period.
Carers Trust 4all offers a wide range of high-quality support services for carers and the people they look after, to allow a carer some normality and the chance to have a meaningful break away from their caring responsibilities in the knowledge that their loved one will be well looked after.
The Hibberts team also took part in the ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ on raising money on behalf of Save the Children. We donned some amazing Christmas attire and even the dog joined in the Christmas fun!
Stewart Bailey, Hibberts Managing Partner, and Race Director says ”As one of the organisers and sponsors of the Tatton Yule Yomp it was great to see so many people out enjoying running the course and raising money for such well-deserving charities. It’s also great to see the Hibberts team joining in the Christmas fun by wearing their festive jumpers and fundraising for Save the Children.”
